      I have been on the server daily since I joined the community. So long as my life's situation remains stable, I should be able to continue with such.

      My experience as an administrator is rather sizable. I have served as staff on several defunct communities, such as Coalition of Gamers (HL2RP; Superadmin), Point of Contact (SSTRP;Superadmin), Calling of Heroes (SSTRP and Terminator Roleplay;Owner) and GearsofWarRP.com/Carmine Life Insurance (Gears of War Roleplay;Head Gamemaster/Management Team).

      What is your motivation behind joining the staff team?
      I see LimeFruit and have so much nostalgia. Despite my nostalgia glasses, I also see potential that wasn't there back in the Clockwork era; I wish to help bring out the best in the community's members and the roleplay environment.

      However, that's just the surface of why I'm wishing to join the staff team. While I was on the server recently, there was a new player on the server who was clearly uncertain as to what he was supposed to do. While there were admins on who could have handled him, none stepped in. That's not something that keeps new players around, especially those new to roleplay. And while I realize that teaching new roleplayers is a tedious, thankless and painstaking job, it is one that needs to be done.

      And I happen to take a certain type of pleasure in seeing someone I've taught how to roleplay begin to come into their own.

      Description of Ailments: Patient sustained workplace injury while working within C33 test premises. PT presented with trauma to limbs and lower abdomen, leading to initial diagnosis of fracturing within hips, legs and arms. PT was in the Hazardous Environment Suit and had morphine automatically administered by suit.

      Description of Treatment: Patient was retrieved from C33 and moved to Sector C clinic for triage while awaiting a Life Flight to Med Lab 6. Patient's treatment outlook is positive and can be expected to return to workplace relatively quickly.

      Comments: C33's Chamber is something else. I also soaked up a tonne of rads most likely. Gonna need to be careful with that. And get cancer screenings sooner than I would have otherwise.

    • A belated introduction (Or maybe re-introduction?)

      Hey guys. Saw this section was unused and wanted to fix that!

      I'm Thriina. I also go by Luna, so if we've met in the past, it was likely under that name.

      Been playing Garry's Mod since I was twelve or thirteen and doing text-based serious roleplay for about nine or ten years. It's been a wild ride for me!

      I don't just play GMod, I also occasionally play FFXIV, Monster Hunter (Rise right now!) and a variety of other multiplayer games.

      I really enjoy story and world building when I roleplay. I also enjoy seeing people new to roleplay find their way around creating and developing a character that is organic to the world they've chosen to start their journey in. It's something that the veteran roleplayer inside of me always cherishes.

      I am fairly certain I played on a version of LimeFruit in the past. It was a clockwork version and when I watched one of my friends go on there, it was like a shot from the past. So I'm pretty sure that this is the community I used to play on back then.

      Chapter 1
      What is Human Resources?
      (And how can it help me?)


      Human Resources - HR for short - is a branch of the Administrative Department that is headed by the HR Branch Manager. The primary directive for HR is to ensure that the most valuable resource available to the Black Mesa Research Facilities is operating properly and more importantly, taken care of. What is this resource? Why, it's you, Black Mesa's wonderful employees!

      The Human Resources Branch is first and foremost an ally of the employees of Black Mesa, forever endeavoring to protect the worker's interests and assist in matters relating to compensation and worker's benefits, labor and employee relations, and training and learning.

      What does this mean for you? It means that the HR department is capable of aiding workers with situations from them sustaining a workplace injury and requiring an extended sick leave to a subordinate/superior dispute that is unable to be resolved easily.

      Remember, HR exists for YOU!


      Human Resource's duties do not just end at working with and aiding the day to day employees. We also work closely with the various departmental chiefs and their direct subordinates to ensure that inter-department conflicts and interests are properly handled.

      We also assist with recruitment for the departments should they be undermanned and needing aid with staffing their various positions.

      Not just that but we assist in keeping the morale of all workers on site high, with recreational events and parties for situations such as: birthdays, major breakthroughs, exceeding the board's expectations and many more!

      Why I believe I'd be suitable for the role: I am a veteran roleplayer of at least ten years and have played various roles, including IC and OOC leadership in SSTRP (Including Point of Contact and Calling of Heroes) and a plethora of various HL2RP servers.

      My experience in regards to the role specifically is marginal but I believe that I have the experience in roleplay to make up for my shortcomings. Not just that but I enjoy IC paperwork and tending to IC issues that occur.

      Why I wish to have the role: I have been on this iteration of LimeFruit for a short while and have seen unprofessional conduct and interactions amongst various senior personnel. I wish to provide an avenue for players who witness such to report and have these issues handled, be it via myself or my subordinates. I do realize that many of these players are veterans of the community and I do not wish to have them usurped, instead I wish to see them do better in their roles and am perfectly willing to be patient as they either shore up their roleplay or improve upon their character's IC flaws.

      Comments: I played on Limefruit (or a version of it) many years in the past, on the Clockwork version. This is nostalgia city and even if I don't get this position, I am thankful to be playing Text-based BMRP again.

      Basic Physical Description: Here stood a slightly above average height male with almond skin and honey eyes with the beginnings of crow's feet appearing. His dark brown hair was beginning to be stained with flecks of silver and when he spoke, he had a slight rasp. When he walked, he strode with purpose.

      Basic Emotional Profile: Ryley is a calm individual, electing to generally resolve issues with logic rather than feeling. Despite his logical brain, he is not adverse to building a rapport with his subordinates in order to facilitate healthy workplace relations. However, he is not one to allow a bond to affect his work sense. If he feels an employee is acting improper or has evidence of misconduct, he is perfectly willing to address it, either personally or via delegation.

      Employment History: Marcelo's employment started the moment he graduated with his master's degree, becoming employed by the University of California, Berkeley as an Enrollment Manager in the Admissions Department for a few years. This was from 1981 to 1986.

      When he had obtained a feel for the land, he applied to work at the regional HQ for Coca-Cola in Los Angeles and was hired on as a Human Resources Specialist. He climbed the food chain and in 1994 was the Deputy Head for Human Resources on the entire west coast.

      However he was interested in broadening his horizons more and decided to apply for the Administrator job that was available in Black Mesa.

      Backstory: Ryley grew up in a suburban neighborhood on the outskirts of San Diego. Despite his parents both being second generation immigrants, Ryley's family was not struggling for money and made sure to put him and his younger siblings through rigorous schooling. They were tiger parents, to be certain. However, Ryley did not mind it.

      You see, Ryley wished to make something of himself, he always knew this. Schooling was the way to do this in his mind and applying himself the best method of utilizing the opportunities provided him.

      He went through school scoring consistently high on standardized testing and when it came time to begin applications to higher education, Ryley got a good offer for a free ride to Berkeley and he took it. His aspirations were coming true and this was only step one!

      He threw himself into his coursework, forgoing any partying or other distractions in favor of having his GPA be as high as possible. However, he was not a loner or didn't have time for friends. Instead he had a small, tight knit group of friends instead of the massive social groups some campus social butterflies might have.

      Years go by and eventually Ryley is graduating with his Master's and immediately looking for a job. Thankfully he didn't have to look far, for his former place of education was looking for Admissions personnel and his mentor at the campus was willing to sponsor him.

      Needless to say, Ryley was hired and he found himself working for the first time in his life. It was tough during the peak admissions seasons but he thrived in a workplace environment. And when he decided it was time for a change, he was easily able to secure a job with Coca-Cola in the regional HQ in L.A.

      After competing with various other aspirants for a cushy job in HR, Ryley had the deputy chief position. And he was content for several years. But then the position at Black Mesa opened up.

      He knew he wanted this job. It called to him - sung to him. His application was sent to the facility within days of the position opening.

      This was it, he told himself. The job of his dreams. Now to land it.

      So just to demonstrate:

      I updated Joseph Ford's clearances in the database. I initially started with his Xenian Clearance and after a try or two, it updated successfully.

      However when I went to update his administration clearance, it failed to save on multiple occasions.
