When did you join Limefruit?: Just yesterday actually, but I've been doing Gmod Serious RP in various settings for 10 years at this point.
Have you ever been administratively infracted?: No.
If so, what was the infraction and how long ago was it?: n/a
If so, did you appeal and have your appeal accepted?: n/a
Describe your style of roleplay: While many people like to churn out paragraphs of roleplay, I usually turn to describe my actions as simply and understandable as possible; if I think an action needs to have a more in-depth description, or if I think putting out a more descriptive /me will improve the RP, I have no issues writing a more advanced /me. I am very passive-oriented and dedicated to developing my character through minor interactions, and I don't really understand the need for action that a lot of newer-wave RPers have.
How would you describe yourself OOCly?: I'm very detail-oriented and love doing things like paperwork OOCly (weird, right?). I work in security and find that writing reports is my favorite part of my job. I love to have fun and enjoy my time off (when I mostly just play games). I tend to get along with most people as well.
Do you acknowledge that your character can be terminated for both IC and OOC reasons, with administrative punishments resulting in a ban of any length being almost certain grounds for OOC termination?: Yes.
Name: Christian Booth
Date of Birth: 16 August 1948
Are you a native-born American citizen? If not, do you hold American citizenship, and what is your country of birth?
I am a native-born American citizen.
If the answer to both previous questions is no, do you hold the right to work on American soil?
Are you currently facing litigation, criminal charges, or are currently wanted by any form of United States Law Enforcement?
Describe your personality:
I am highly organized. I always take notes, and I use everything at my disposal to stay on top of deadlines. I like to keep a clean workspace and create a logical filing method so I’m always able to find what I need. I find this increases efficiency and helps the rest of the team stay on track as well.
Do you hold any degrees, credentials, certificates, or any other certifications that would prove useful in a Human Resources environment?
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, a Master’s Degree of Education in Training and Development, and a Dual-Title Ph.D. and M.S. in Workforce Education and Development and Operations Research with a focus in human resource development/organization development.
Have you ever worked in a field relating to Human Resources or some other form of Administrative work?
For the past 20 years, I have held a wide variety of positions in academic and operational leadership, strategic planning, and organizational development in both higher education and the private sector. I took on an early retirement and am now looking for a more relaxed position.
Provide a short biography of yourself:
I was born in 1948, Fort Worth, Texas. My father was military man and my mother was a nurse, so I quickly learned the value of both respect and safety. I was a normal kid throughout my early years and moved to Pennsylvania when I was 18 where I earned my Bachelor's in Psychology from Gettysburg College, and both my Master’s Degree of Education in Training and Development and Dual-Title Ph.D. and M.S. in Workforce Education and Development and Operations Research from Penn State University.
After graduating from Gettysburg College, I began my career as a corporate trainer for a leading Washington, D.C. consulting firm. Upon completing my master’s degree, I served as director of workforce development and continuing education at Harrisburg Community College. I then served as director of continuing education at Penn State University/York, where I managed programs and courses marketed to adult students and served as the university’s representative to local businesses and community organizations.
As vice president for workforce development at Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, I developed and implemented numerous workforce initiatives designed to assist students, graduates, and members of the community improve their career skills. I managed a $35 million budget as I planned and developed visions and goals for workforce development, technology transfer services, articulations, and economic development initiatives.
While serving as provost and vice president of academic affairs at Occidental College in Los Angeles, California, I managed all academic programs. I forged key partnerships between Occidental and local health care and economic development organizations and began to increase the college’s partnerships with other business sectors as well.
