Hazard Pictograms (Safety Guidelines)

Dear members of the scientific community,

Due to recent developments and conclusions, it has come to my attention that safety hazards are not being addressed enough as they should be neither are any of our colleagues kept up to date which is why I am here today to present all of the relevant hazard pictograms relevant to the Black Mesa Research Institute.

Each pictogram has a class as explained evidently below the designation, it is usually an indicator as to how a liquid, gas, or solid may interact with your surroundings causing dangerous side effects to the environment or yourself.

Of course, you are not required to know the meaning of each individual pictogram however if you do encounter one, you are able to use this document to find out what particular danger may arise.

These models are used from the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS)

Any classes rated with and above 6.2 do not belong to the GHS model and are illegal to transport under international law. For a specific hazard within this designation an expert within a field of expertise is needed to oversee handling, an example would be nuclear waste disposal is required to be supervised by a nuclear scientist​
