Attention all members of the Black Mesa Security Force,

I am pleased to announce a new development that will contribute to the professionalism and unity of our esteemed security force. Effective immediately, we will be introducing rank insignia to signify the different ranks within our organization.

Rank insignia serve as a visual representation of the authority and responsibilities bestowed upon each member. They symbolize our commitment to maintaining order, ensuring the safety of personnel, and protecting the invaluable assets within Black Mesa.

Here is the design and meaning of the rank insignia:


You may notice that the rank of Junior Officer is missing that is because they are not yet considered full-fledged employees of the Security Force. Upon reaching the rank of Security Officer and only then will you be considered as such.

These rank insignia will be worn on the right shoulder of our standard security uniforms, allowing for easy identification of each member's rank. Please ensure that you wear the appropriate insignia with pride and professionalism.

Remember, the rank insignia should not be seen as merely decorative symbols, but as representations of our commitment to upholding security and safeguarding the facility. Let us strive to work together, respecting the chain of command and fostering a culture of collaboration within our ranks.
